Z-Line Home ripoff dishonest selling, failure of services, overbilling, & NO CUSTOMER CARE

In early Oct. I was sold local and long distance phone service from Z-Line. This was done in person, not over the phone or internet. A representive came to my home and explained the package. The service was to include; local phone service, unlimited local calling minutes per month, unlimited domestic long distance calling minutes per month, Z-LineHome Access Card, Personal Voice Assistant, Voicemail, Caller ID, call waiting, Speed Calling, 3-way calling, and conferencing. All of this for only $49.99 a month plus tax.

We got a call telling us to send $70.00 in advance of the hook up and this would go toward our monthly bills. We paid.

The welcome package came in the mail on Oct. 26th stating I was getting this service for only $89.99 a month plus tax! The next day I received a call from Z-Line asking if everything was working. I told her they were overbilling me in addition the only thing I had was the voice mail & the personal voice assistant. She said she saw in the computer where the original price of $49.99 but didnt know what to do. She said she would call me back when she figured it out. The call never came!

On Nov. 3, a week later, I talked to another rep. She told me ther was nothing the could do about my billing but they could try to get all the services working for me. This was unacceptable! I felt slammed! I told her that this is false advertisment and the could drop me. I also wanted our $70.00 refunded. She said she would have someone call me.

Befor I got the next call I got a bill.in addition to the $70 I was being billed an additional$58.83!!!
The next call came a few days later. Her name is Bridget #1172.

She told me they would not refund my money but might prorate the $58.83. I said this is a shitty way of doing business and I would like to talk to someone who is in management. She couldnt forward my call but said they would call me within 24-48 hours. The call never came. I still didnt have most of the features promised.
