Ripoff/Bad information on website regarding purchasing a new phone on a old account Chicago illinois

Well I have been a VALUED customer of attwireless for over 3 years now. Well only up until a few months ago things were fine. Well, Things went bad when I decided to move from my original service (digital plan) to the new service (Mmode plan).

So about a 10 months past and i get a letter from a collection agency saying I never paid the old account (digital plan) off. Ok fine if that was the case why is my new phone service just fine and nobody has sent me a bill regarding that old service bill, even though when I went to the Mmode i had to buy a "special" phone to use it and it (the new phone) was paid in full at the time. I shouldn't have paid it but i did.

Ok, next problem, I decided to go with a new phone (panasonic) thinking my old phone (sony T68i) reception was horrible. So i go to attwireless.com and decided to buy the new phone. I purchased and paid the phone in full over the website. 3 days later the new phone arrives. 1 month past and i get my new statement saying I owe twice what i normally owe. Come to find out ATT started a new line (number) to my old account.

So i call Customer service (I really do hate dealing with those people) and explain what happened. They tell me that I shouldn't have purchased the phone from the website, and that it (the website) was for NEW customers ONLY and I should have called customer service to purchase the phone.

So I said fine, I want to cancel the new number (which I never activated or used the sim card at all) and want to continue using the new phone with my old service. They told me Tough Luck sir, you have to keep it for 1 year or find someone to take over the new number. SCREWED AGAIN by ATTWIRELESS.

Last Headache, I just recieved my new statement and its over $600
I was going crazy now. It turns out my phone (panasonic) has been roaming and picking up Cingular (mind you this is happening while i'm at home and this has never happened in 3 years since i have had ATT). Once again I call (DANG) customer service and another soldier of theirs tells me its been like this forever and its a practice they use between companies. So now they want me to pay this crazy sum and I refuse. I have had enough Of The BULL

How do i join the fight to bring ATT wireless DOWN!
