Straight Talk Phone Service
Harssing messages, service interrupted, steals paid for service days, bad customer service!

Straight Talk phone service seems good to start with, then the messages will begin. You will receive messages telling you to buy another card for your phone service. I've received four of these today. I bought a $45.00 card yesterday (unlimited plan) and called the company using the 611 feature they offer, I was on hold for about 35 minutes total before I gave up. Today I called again trying to use their automated service to add air time. When the automated service failed it redirected my call to customer service. I was greeted by a man with a heavy accent and very hard to understand. Frustrated by not being able to understand clearly what he was saying I hung up and called back, once through calling the number they provide 877-430-2355 and again was placed on hold, I hung up and called 611 again. This time I was greeted by yet another person with an accent but not has heavy and could understand her much better. I was told that although I had paid for air time through May the 1st that I would lose those days because I bought more air time early! So I lost 4 days of service and now I'm required to buy another card on the 27th of May instead of June the 1st! How crazy is that?

If you purchase this service you will get messages constantly about 7-8 days after you purchase it telling you to buy another card, don't do it! Another problem is that if you wait until the day your service expires you will be made to jump through hoops to have it re-activated which could take up to 24 hours.

This week I called my son and the call was redirected to a recording that told me I didn't have enough time left to make the call! Remember, I have unlimited service, texts and Internet with this plan and my expire date is May the 1st! This happened a 7 days before the 1st! Two weeks ago this company sent me a message that said my service was being disconnected because it had expired, that was only one week after I had bought another card.

I once was told that my number didn't even exist! This company is out to harass customers into buying and activating a new card early each month so they will lose days of airtime! It would not matter if you bought two unlimited cards, your service is for 30 days, if you activate it early you lose any days you have already paid for.

You will have to deal with a customer service people who speak bad English, best of luck to you dealing with them.
