I was leaving this company for several reasons, but the main one was a pre-mature move to paperless logs. (DOT does not yet require them and going to them before hand is stupid!) I gave them a two week notice and, for their convenience and mine, I even added a couple of days so that I would turn the truck in at the end of the week instead of in the middle of a week. During the first of these two weeks, not only were my miles reduced, but when it came time for them to send me home for a couple of days, the weekend before I was to leave, they CONVENIENTLY could not get me a load to get home and and ultimately, when I told them that this was unsatisfactory, I was told to go ahead and empty it out NOW.
Fortunately for me, the company I am going to (contact me for info), is taking care of me by getting me a rental car to get my stuff out and head to their orientation (the down side being that I will not get to go home as I originally planned until the new company can get me there...)
DO NOT WORK FOR THIS BAND OF CRIMINALS! They are childish, petty, uncommunicative with their drivers, and a few CHOICE words that I will not put on a public forum!
