My landlord got a contract with Service America 2 months ago. I had two problems: 1: The microwave doesn't work. 2: The toilet leaks and is therefore refilling itself all day and night. Here are the chain of events to the best of my memory: First guy shows up to fix the microwave and says that he needs to order parts and will return next week. Next week comes, but he doesnt come and there is no call. I call and they send another guy for another day who also does not call or show up. The guy who is supposed to come fix the toilet also does not call or show up. I reschedule both. The guy who comes to fix the toilet says he needs $35 before saying hello, then says I need a $175 part which he needs to order. My landlord goes and buys the part for $12 and has the guy come back to install it. When the plumber comes back to install it, he tries to hit my 60 year old mother up for $75. She said that he wiped the toilet seat down with the bath towels. He installs the part but the problem does not go away. I call once again and a guy comes out. He says that he is not a plumber nor is he an electrician and therefore can't fix the toilet or the micro. I call again. Plumber comes out and does something. Security let him in and so I don't know what he did, but he never calls or leaves a note or anythingnone of them do. Of course he doesn't fix the problem so now I call yet again and they are laughing at me at corporate. I think there have been about 7 people who were scheduled to come out to fix 2 problems and nothing has been done. 2 months has gone buy and I still don't have a working micro or a toilet that doesn't leak. I have never written one of these in my life. Service America is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
