What does $2,000 buy you from JP Maroney a.K.A. Mr. Monetizer, frustration, failure on his part to follow up, being ignored and apparently blocked from his phone and email?
Seemed like a great idea at the time.
Approximately 2 years ago I was asked by Mr. Maroney to provide a chapter to a book that would target those people that were interested in becoming Internet Marketers. This book would have chapters from 20 or more of the best known and most successful internet marketers explaining what and how to approach a successful internet marketing campaign. As a psychologist with more than 30 years of experience JP Maroney asked me to write a chapter on the effect isolation may have on your psyche, family and relationships for people starting home based internet businesses.
JPs provided me a list of signed up contributors was an impressive Whos Who of the Internet marketers. My opinion is the list of contributors was an illusion, the hook to get you to join and enrich Mr. Maroney.
Being a successful author and recognized expert in my field was not enough to have my material included. I was required to purchase 500 of these tomes in advance at a cost of $2,000. I was led to believe that all of the contributors had agreed to do the same. I was informed that book would be published within months. Being included as an author in 10,000 copies of a book that would be widely distributed by well known experts seemed to me to be a reasonable investment which would eventually provide a reasonable return on my investment. That was the promise the enticed me to write a check for $2,000.
What was the real outcome?
The book has never been published and the experts that had been committed to contribute to this great how to be successful as an internet marketer I was told were dropping out so there would be a delay in getting this published. That was two years ago. Long ago sent a letter withdrawing my copyright license to include my material and to have my $2,000 returned and many times since I have asked Mr. Maroney by email and directly by phone to return my $2,000. As of today, April 18, I have not received my refund and for the past 4 months, I have been persona non grata.
Mr. Maroney must have become tired of hearing my request because in the past 3 months he has refused to answer my emails or even answer his phone when I call. This treatment from someone I considered to be my friend.
I have read many times that the only people to make money on the internet are those people that promise to help you make money on the internet, GUARNTEED. JP Maroney is one of them and in my opinion his word is worthless. Do not allow yourself to become involved with him. Frustration, failed promises and losing your money is all you will receive from JP Maroney and Marocom, LLC
