Select marketing Solutions contacted my firm via Email and offered a list of 600 names in our area that had been compiled through online, telephone and mass-mail surveys. They were supposed to be individuals who were looking for options for an IRA rollover and have been surveyed within 2 weeks to 30 days. They were also to be scrubbed from the Federal Do Not Call List After calling through at least 1/3 the list, among which were various fax machines, disconnected numbers and numbers on the Federal Do Not Call List, all of the individuals reached had no recollection of responding to a survey. SMS refused to refund my firms money unless we called the entire list of 600 names w/o generating business, indicating "it was not SMS's fault the individuals sold to us did not remember taking a survey" We spoke to the Sales associate Nicole then to Makenzie a supervisor who told us it was company policy that we call the entire list prior to requesting a refund. Based on laws of probability and my firms experience, clearly the product sold was misrepresented. Do not buy "Leads" from this company. It appears they are pulling demographic information from another source and selling that to the public.
