I was contacted by lhi (liberty holdings, inc.) because i was interested in starting my own home based buisness. Lhi was going to employ me as a mystery shoper and have me shop at verious stores with a check that they sent me a check in the amout of three thousand nine hundred eighty-five dollars ($3,985.00).
The money was to be used in a specific manner. My salary would be $570.00 to do the job, a survey fund transfer plus fees $2,950.00 $200.00, a transportation allowance in the amount of $65.00, and funds needed for shopping $200.00
i'm sure if i deposited this check into my banking account, they would have had access to my bank account and funds. When i spoke to someone from this company they already knew my personal information, date of birth, social security number and what institution i banked with.
This made me very suspicious but whenever i called back to find out more about the business the number i called gave a recording stating that the number was unavalable at the time and to call again later no matter what time or day it was.
