My husband, our 3 children and one of their friends went to Lookout Farm last Sunday (9/21). After taking about 2 hours in traffic to go the last 5 miles to their entrance we were flagged away by a cop posted at their entrance yelling "no other parking." Finding a nearby street to park on we hiked up to Lookout farm (about a 1/2 mile away) to learn that they had a $3 admission fee (or $2 for children) whether you took the tram or not.
This admission didn't include the price of apples which was about $1.50/lb! No where in their ad did they mention this fee. Needless to say our children were disappointed and we didn't go picking because who ever heard of being charged to apple pick!
