Do not order from this online company. They will place your applianceon backorder and not tell you until you call them and speak to someonelive. They will not answer multiple e-mails or send order updates. Then when you call they tell you it will be weeks to get the itemfrom the manufacturer. They will orally tell you can cancel with nocharge (spoke to Maria in CS). Weeks later they charged the item to my credit card and charged me25% restocking fee when it "shipped". Since they would not put anything in writing orrespond to my e-mails AMEX credit card hands are tied. It is my word against theirs and I am out 25% restocking fee.
Resolution Sought: Refund my money since they do not inform customers items are backordered. Customer service repstell customers no charge to drop items from backorder status but willnot confirm in writing. Specifically ask Maria at Universal to send me acancellation notice in writing. This may be a training issue but it is still unethical.
