I sell on Ebay, I decided to use moneybookers as a payment acceptance for customers. I did not realize they held your money for 40 days for every transaction. I called them to cancel my account and request all funds transferred to my account. They asked me to send them delivery confirmation of all transactions. I sent them requested information and the supervisor said funds would be released the following business day. I then recieved an email saying that they were still going to hold my funds. I called again and spoke to another supervisor who then promises me my funds will be released and account closed. Same thing happens. I have been calling for 2- 3 weeks now speaking to the same people over and over agin being promised the same thing. Today, I recieved an email saying my account is being closed so I thought they finally went on their word and would transfer my money.
My fiance called to see when we would recieve our funds. He was then told that our account was under fraud investigation. Mind you that every transaction we made was either a magicjack or mp3 player. Each customer for all transactions left a positive feedback. There was no reason for our account to be under fraud investigation! They are retaliating because I got sick of their lies and filed a complaint with the better business bureau. Keep in mind you are allowed to file a complaint for each transaction so I will be filing 8 more. They do not return my phone calls and when I do get through they put me on hold permanetly.
All emails from company are different than what they tell you over the phone. For my own proof phone calls have been recorded. They are not submissible in court but they sure are submissible to my lawyers argument in court. This manner has become ridiculous, they are holding money that is not theirs and collecting interest on it. They will tell you whatever you want to hear over the phone but flat out lie to you. If you file a claim against them they will put your account into fraud investigation. This is the same thing that happened to a neighbor.
Unfortunately because they are greedy lieing scammers this manner will be escalated to court. Lawyer states what they are doing is fraud, theft, defrimation of character as well as false advertiseing and they will be getting served.
