BargainsPlusMore advertised a pair of Bates Boots on eBay. When they arrived, while the box had the correct name information on the outside, the actual boots were different than ones I previously owned (same boot) and different from other advertised ones on the Internet that are supposedly the same. They were not side zip boots like I anticipated. I read through the auction again and nowhere did it say they were side zip, but it never said they weren't. And the boots were displayed in the photo in such a way as to not show the side of the boots where the zipper would be.
I figured it was my fault for not reading the auction so I left the seller a positive comment about fast shipping. I also noted for other buyers that the boots did not have a side zipper. The seller then responded saying I "couldn't read." He also posted an angry comment on my feedback profile. I emailed BargainsPlusMore saying my comment was to inform other buyers and did not reflect on him as a seller (I noted this in the feedback as well). Though I was slightly suspicious that he was trying to sell one kind of boot as another, I had no way to prove this. That's why I left positive feedback and not a negative or neutral. His childishness and unprofessional behavior afterward has lost me as a customer forever. The bargains are not worth it. The 'more' in Bargains Plus More must mean an unneeded hissy fit. Steer clear of this seller. This is not his first complaint.
