Be WARNED that your final payment would be doubled the quote. Every time they contact you, they will put additional charges on your bills.
I have a quote for a long distant move from Walnut Creek, CA to East LA. For a queen size bed and around 15 boxes. They quoted me for $500, which I think it's fair. When they come picked up the boxes. They increased to 700 something saying that the mattress should be put into mattress box which they only using plastics to wrap around the mattress.
They did not honor they words of delivery on the weekend, i was waiting in vain and if you want to contact them you can never get a hold of them. I thought I lost my stuff and they called me on the following Monday saying that they are delivering. I asked to be delivery on the weekend again. They said I need to send an email. They never call until Friday and told me the total price is 900 something. Telling me that I signed the paper on agreeing the payment, which i was not informed.
I tried to contact police, better business bureau and civil court which I don't even know is the right way. I have a feeling that what I do will not compensate the stress and problems that i have been going through. I just don't want another customer/family to be the victim of the scam.
