Maria Duval claimed to have supernatural powers and offered various amulets, talismans, mostly overpriced, over-hyped, too readily tarnished jewely that held the promise of love & friendship, luck & money for the owner. Even large sums of money with dollar amounts were "seen" by Maria as being won-"almost certainly" by me at the lottery (when I played her special lucky numbers). Even approximate dates were supplied (her prediction rate of success was quoted as being 97% accurate).
Many predictions were made for me regarding a positive financial upturn, but nothing materialized (since 1999 to present date). She even predicted that my brother who had cancer would get better (he died last March). Two months ago I ordered 2 bottles of "Success perfume" which was supposed to radically change my life for the better on every front. But it never arrived.
So I wrote a letter asking for a refund and expressed my opinion that nobody wants to be lied to on an on-going basis and that the BBB & Attorney General should be made aware of this ongoing scam. I have had four years of false promises and unfounded claims in my possession (and many endorsed checks made out to Maria Duval). Maria operates like a professional copywriter, enticing through greed & fear, and I have the the many papers from her to prove it!
