Avvo publishes and maintains on the internet false reviews of legal services. When these false reviews are reported the company firstly refuses to take down the review and then solicits further reviews from the lawyer who has been falsely reviewed. The site actually, as part of its marketing scheme, solicits the reviewed lawyer to have his real clients write reviews and submit them. Clearly, the site is attempting to build its base for marketing and income purposes. However, it should not be permitted to perpetuate false, unfounded and misleading reviews.
