On 10/20/09, I went in on my lunch hour to send a package. The girl was VERY slow in service but quoted me $20 to ship via Fedex Ground. When I asked about UPS services, she told me that UPS does not ship to Boulder City, NV. She said that she would place the item into a box for me for a "couple dollars". I agreed. After she spent about 15 minutes placing the item into a box, she brought it to the front counter and told me it would now cost about $30 not including the box. I asked her again about UPS ground and she again told me that UPS does NOT ship to the location.
I told her never mind on the shipping and that I would like to pay for the box. She charged me $7.45 for the box and her labor. I questioned her labor and I strated to remove the item from the box at which time another lady said that I could not refuse the box since they already taped it up. Had it not been that I had already given her my credit card for the shipment, I would have walked out at this point.
Both employees were rude and not helpful in the least. When I returned to mu office, I learned that UPS DOES ship to Nevada and the total cost would be less than $10.
The Ship N Stuff Store was very misleading and sketchy as a business. I would NOT reccomend their services in the future to ANYONE! When I read their website for info, it says that the business is family owned and that customer service is their top goal. They need to be educated on what customer service is truly about before making their motto include such slander.
