Ruth Wilkinson - "Customer Assistance Manager" I was hired to forward packages bought at auction in the U.S., and forwarded them to individuals overseas

STOKTON GLOBAL TRADING has multiple listings for employment in a number of American cities. Postings on the internet and notices in select local publications offer immediate employment. A registration page can be found on their website with fields for name, physical address and email address.
Individuals who complete the registration page with the requested information will receive an immediate email from Ruth Wilkinson (Customer Assistance Manager).in that email four (4) items of information are requested: (1) How did you learn of the opportunity with SGT? (2) What is your age and employment background? (3) Is someone at home during each business day? (4) Are international shipping services (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.) near to your location?
The only information requested of the potential "employee" is a scanned copy of their drivers licence. No social security numbers are requested, and there is no interview process.
You will be told that Stokton Global Trading is in the business of buying items on eBay and other internet auctions sites by proxy. The purchased items are then shipped to your physical address under a totally ficticous American name where they are held until forwarding instructions are received via email from your "manager".
Shortly after the package arrives you will receive an email from your manager with the name and address of the recipient. All recipients will be located in Russia, or in one of the former Soviet republics. Attached to the email will be a pre-paid postage document that you are to download and affix to the outside of the box. The original shipping address label is to be removed and shredded. All invoices and paperwork with descriptions of the items received are to be removed prior to the re-shipping.
The items will range from expensive ski goggles to global positioning devices, to $1,000 digital cameras, et. Al. It will be of interest to note that the downloaded shipping label will have a "description of the contents" that in no way reflects what is actually inside the package. For example: a Tom-Tom GPS system (valued at approximately $400) will have a description of used car parts valued at $34.00. The items received will come from such reputable companies as Wal-Mart, Radio Shack, Vonage and Sears.
It is of critical importance to note that all of the "point of origin information" available for each package shipped contains your name and your address. YOU will be regarded as both the purchaser and shipper of all items you forward. Nowhere will Stokton Global Trading be mentioned.in all USPS postal inspection violations, all tariff and duty violations, all international mail fraud and stolen credit card questions will be your's to answer and account for ALONE—Stokton Global Trading will have vanished leaving you holding a very messy and complicated bag.
You will be promised a payment of $24.00 for each package you forward. During the "trial period" of employment (3 weeks) you will be informed that 8-10 packages will be received each week. After the trial period you will be told to expect approximately 50 packages per week. At the end of the trial period you will be paid via check or paypal. After the trial period you will be paid every two weeks.
What you need to know is that the items are initially purchased from reputable sources with stolen credit cards. The pre-paid postage forms that you will download will also have been purchased with stolen credit cards.
REALITY—YOU WILL NOT BE PAID A SINGLE DIME FOR YOUR RE-SHIPPING EFFORTS! Your "services" will be busily utilized during the trial period, and then Ruth Wilkinson, Colin Shea and anyone else you have corresponded with will quietly disappear.
All inquiries made by you concerning your "salary" during the trial period will go unanswered. Ruth, Colin and the rest of this band of thieves will have vanished into thin air.
Some of the packages re-shipped by you will actually get through and reach their destination. Others will be returned to your home after a brief period and will arrive with official documents from the United States Postal Inspection Office informing you that the postage is "invalid" for the country of destination and has been purchased on-line via a stolen credit card. An additional document will inform you that you have unknowingly participated in the commission of a felony.
Here are some things to consider:
1. Beware of any company that is eager to "hire" you, but requests no typical employment information (SS#, DOB, References, etc.) and doesn't even bother to interview you.
2. Ask yourself why a company trafficking high-dollar items would totally entrust those items to someone they have never met and really have no reason to trust?
3.information on the Stokton Global Trading website will be written in broken English using horrific grammar. All email correspondence will include the same.
4. Specific inquiries to your "manager" concerning shipments received with incomplete orders or erroneous content information will be ignored. The only response to such will be ship as quickly as possible!
5. Do not be misled by the fact that little or nothing about Stokton Global Trading will be disclosed on internet sites such as this one. SGT has somehow managed to conceal the true nature of their business, making every effort to appear legitimate.
6. All telephone inquiries made to their U.S. Office will be met with the familiar static and chirps of a fax machine. No one will answer your call, so don't waste your time.
7. All emails sent by you to your manager informing him/her of packages received and shipped will be answered promptly. Most will contain nothing more than "Thank you!" All emails sent by you requesting information or clarification on a problem or issue will be ignored. Certainly any inquiry made by you concerning the payment of your salary will mysteriously disappear into cyber-space, never to be seen again. There will be no response whatsoever!
