Our neighborhood church was contacted in March by a heavy-hitter TKO sales person asking us to sponsor a t-shirt whose sales would support our neighborhood middle school sports. Church committees combined funds to committed $200 for 2x4 sponsor ad block on t-shirt. Art work finalized and received in early April and we agreed to CC billing to receive 10% discount. The understanding was that shirts would be produced for fundraising during Fall sports season and beyond. I called today, 10/19/09, asking TKO for an update. I am told that unpaid ad commitments are holding up production of that shirt. Our commitment has been paid for 6 months and this should not be the case. Has not the school itself wondered where the t-shirts are? I am told that TKO will remove those unpaid ads and proceed with production. I have asked to have an electronic file of final art for the shirt by next week. My church would like to see the result of our $180 expenditure before the end of the budget year. And, I personally ould not like to be the fool who got sucked into this school "fundraising" project. So, I am giving this company a chance to make good and will keep posting progress on this site.
