I placed a Halloween costume order for my family to this company on 9/28. I paid an extra $14.99 for expedited 2-4 day shipping. As of today, 10/7, I have not recieved my order, or any response to the numerous emails that I have sent and messages I have left.
The Costumeselection.com website encourages consumers to contact them with questions, providing a toll-free number and an e-mail form to their "customer service team". When you call, you are prompted to leave a message that never gets returned. E-mails get ignored as well. I lost almost $200 to this fraudulent company.
I went online to BBB.com to file a complaint, and found 8 other open cases against them. This information is staggering, and unfortunately, I found it too late.
I hope that this information helps prevent more people from getting conned as I did, and that the ringleader of that freakshow gets busted. Karma is a bitch. He charged my credit card the day after I placed my order: $194.85.
