We went to Alltell (in WalMart on Stapley and Baseline) and told them up front that we wanted a cellular service that would give us unlimited mobile to mobile and mobile to home. Mohamed promised "many extras" along with what we requested.
My husband wanted my daughter to have a phone so the next day we went back and signed her up. I noticed that my contract read 250 M2M. I questioned the Alltell agent, Sam Cook, about this he got on the phone and seemed to be handling the situation.
Remember, Altell has that 15-day guarantee so they B.S. You all through this 15-day period. They will promise you anything and everything. We were naive enough to believe that the problem was being rectified.
My son and his fiance also got phones at which time we were informed that Altell didn't have unlimited M2M so at that time (still stringing us along) they said that because of the way we had been treated we would get 1,000 M2M minutes free of charge.
It gets worse from there. I have attempted to contact managers only to never have my calls return. Miranda Wilbanks, who works under the manager, Amanda, has called and told me that we did have 1,000 M2M per line.
I get the bill and it is outrageous! I called to get it straightened out again. Once again I am promised that it is taken care of and I will get everything it writing. I never got anything in writing.
Instead, I get another outrageous bill. I call to tell them that I am fed up with the lies and want out of my contract. I am willing to pay for the service that I owe but I refuse to pay $1,000 disconnect fee ($200 per phone).
WARNING: Do not do business with Alltell - they don't know what good customer service is! They are the biggest scam to hit the U.S. Since Enron!
