I joined BMG when I was 16, and had no problems for three years. I was late paying a bill, but I did pay it. Then a month later I went on vacation and instructed my mom to open and pay my bill for me while I was gone.
BMG sent me another bill this time plus intrest. It was $12 higher than the bill I paid the month before. My mom paid it again because she didn't know. When I called to see what was up, a few days after she paid it, they said that it still hasn't been paid.
I have been reciving bills from a collection agency about this same bill for two years now. I have made meny calls and everything else I can due. The last bill i got was for $3000 some dollars, the original bill was for $30.
I am a member of Columbia DVD and CD clubs and a book club that is run the same way, and have had no problems with them what so ever.
My friend also had problems with BMG. I suggest not joining, and if you are already a member to fulfill what you have to and get out.
