The owner of the "company, " Adam B. (no one would give me his last name), is a con man, as are the others working for him. I was told I was hiring 3 professional movers, all of whom had been with the company for years. When the movers showed up in a beat up truck ("Best Movers Company), I discovered that one of the "movers" had been picked up off the street. The overcharged me, holding my furniture in the truck until I paid them twice the amount I have ever paid any company to move the same amount of furniture (a 1-bedroom condo). They shattered my $2100 glass dining table.
After 8 hours were up, and they were still not finished with the move (12-blocks door-to-door), I was told I owed them more money or they would not finish the job. They stole some of my tools, threw all of the pieces of my bed across the floor (I am sleeping on the sofa tonight), and lied about returning my tools when I called them. Adam B. Said Zee Awad would return and put my bed together, but that was a lie, too. I had to call the police during the move because they got into a fight with the person they hired from the street. It was clear they had no intention of paying him. I am going to prosecute them and am getting the media involved.
