We booked speedy auto transport on 2/25/09 to move our car on 7/19/09. We asked for a refund on 5/11/09. We were told by 3 customer service reps on 3 separate phone conversations since we did not received the check, that our check was already sent to us. On 5/28 we called again and spoke to john in accounting and he told us to wait on the phone while he checked on it. John kept us on the phone over an hour until we called from another line to see what is going on and were told that john left the office. (while we are on the hold) This is unacceptable. They are braking there own contract. Their refund policy says that if one cancel 10 days before the pick up day one can get full refund. All we want is our money back. They had it in their hands since Feb.
This company and it's employees are not to be trusted. They literally take your money and run. They do not honor their own refund policy. They broke their own contract. There are many other good moving companies. This one was a really bad choice and the only reason I booked with them was because it was the cheapest. Well I learned my lessons. I booked my house for moving and paid $4500 with another company out of California and when the move was canceled I made one phone call and got my money back within a few days and the service was great. Choose your movers carefully.
