I signed up for a "leader" ad in 2004 that was supposed to be in the beginning of the carpet cleaning section.instead they put it at the end of the carpet section and above ads for carpet installation. I received not a single call from this ad.
I fought with them for hours on end until finally they admitted the ad was ineffective and agreed to waive the remaining balance.
Five years later I wake up and my bank account is levied. AT&T sued me and served the papers at an address I haven't lived at in 15 years which is 400 miles away from where the ad is and 400 miles away from where I live. I can't find any court records in county or civil court either. The attorney who's telephone number is listed on my frozen bank accounts isn't giving me any information period! The bank can't "find the order" but assures me it exists! What kind of BS is that?
Upon speaking with an attorney he cannot find a suit filed against me either. But he said he hears this ALL THE TIME about AT&T. He said "they are running a racket".
I spoke to another friend who's been in the industry for 50 years. She said about 25 years ago she had to file bankruptcy because AT&T did the same thing to her for close to $100,000. No trial, no jury, a complete violation of constitutional rights and then a levy on the bank accounts.
This is America? No. This is Amerika! Land of illusions. You think you're free? You are FAR from free! No right to a trail, no right to a jury, hell, they can lock you up for the rest of your life without a charge if they suspect you of "terrorism". And what's the definition of terrorism according to the Patriot Act?"Any act that violates state or federal law which endangers another human being"!!! That means that running a stop sign is considered TERRORISM and you can be taken off and even TORTURED for it! Just imagine when they bring in their cashless world government and a microchipped population.

Oh, speaking of the world bankers, I was hit with $100 "legal fee" by BankOF America and 21 $35 over drafts to top it all off! No notice, no paperwork, nothing what so ever!
