I am writing as an innocent victim of this disreputable eyeglass frame and eyewear website. Please, under no circumstances, order from DecorMyEyes.com.
They keep your money and do not refund if you have a return. They claim that they will refund within three months, but they hope that you do not notice that they never issue a refund. When you repeatedly call them, they finally will issue a credit, but with a 20% re-stocking fee, which is not advertised.
They swear at you, engage in name-calling, and generally harass their customers. Their "testimonials" are fabricated. You cannot "post" any comments, they must be cleared through the sales department, who acts as a police for all consumer comments. As a result, they deceive and lure innocent consumers into buying from them by only having glowing comments that they make up to get people to order eyewear from their web site.
Please report any issues you have with this company to the New York State Attorney General's Office of Consumer Fraud and Protection. There are numerous complaints on DecorMyEyes registered with this oversight agency for the State of New York. They will go after them and assist consumers. You can search for the location of this state oversight office on the web and you will be guided to fill out a form. Please keep all e-mail communication with DecorMyEyes.com. It will serve as your proof of the disreputable dealings that they have with consumers.
DecorMyEyes is not shy about name calling, as they do NOT want to refund your money. Do not let them get away with their dishonesty and bad business practices. Please report them to a consumer protection agency like I have noted here. And, don't forget the Better Business Bureau and any other sites that can help consumers.
Don't order blindly from web sites, check them out before pressing click to place an order. DecorMyEyes.com has kept my money for many months on an authorized return that they received back in excellent condition. Only through dozens of e-mails, harassment and abuse from them am I making any progress on getting $300 refunded.
