I found a Frisian Horse named Tango for sale on EquineNow. We contacted the owner via email. Glenn Hoskins (false name, I'm sure) offered to ship the horse to us just to make sure that he got a good home.
He emailed us that he was putting the horse on a plane from NY to CA and told us that we would need to pay the Reylly International Pet Relocation service the amount of $940 to have it shipped. Someone from that "agency" emailed us to use the web link to pay. Upon visiting the site, we found that the credit card submission site didn't work.
Upon reporting that to the man on the phone, we were told that we would need to use the Walmart MoneyGram service ONLY to send the money. He told us to do that immediately as the horse was there waiting to board the plane.
I became very suspicious and had my brother-in-law email him through the same EquineNow website, expressing interest in Tango. He received an email shortly after offering him the same horse for sale, just pay shipping! I looked up pet relocation scams and found that another company "Global pet Relocators" had been found doing the same thing and had changed their name.
In the end, I looked up the phone number that I had called for the supposed Pet Relocators and paid to have the name and address sent to me. The phone number that was being used was 315-308-6300. I will update this report with the information once I receive it.
