Scammer! Sells sick puppies! My costs are at $13,200 and counting! Will not refund any money! Puppymill Breede

To make a VERY long story as short as possible, I purchased a male Yorkie puppy from this lady in August and have spent thousands of dollars in vet bills. She is not supposed to be advertising on PuppyFind.com due to the complaints I have filed and I supported ALL of them with copies of my vet expenses. She keeps advertising on there and changes her screen name to avoid being removed.

Within the first month and a half of owning the puppy I spent most of my time at the ER vet hospital and almost lost my female Yorkie due to the illness he gave her as well. Once all was said and done with this "incident" I was $7,600.00 in debt.

In February I had to take him to the vet for some kind of "growth" he had on his behind and at that time he was diagnosed with luxating patellas in both of his hind legs. This means his kneecaps pop in and out and it is a GENETIC and HEREDITARY problem. For this reason she should not breed at all.

Unfortunately, the only way to fix the patellas is with surgery and of course it is not guaranteed. After taking him into a few orthopedic specialists and calling most of the vets in my area for price quotes the cheapest quote I received is for $5400.00. So far, with the first "incident" and all of the office visits and x-rays of the knees and the surgery quote my total expenses will be approximately $13,200.00. This doesn't include the possibility of having to pay for physical therapy either. At this time he has not had the surgery since I am unable to afford it.

During all of these months I emailed Jennifer periodically but she hardly never answered them. The last email I sent to her I asked her for a refund of my purchase price only no vet costs or anything.

This was her response: If the puppy dies I replace that dog with another puppy, I do not give refunds what so ever. So as far as you getting any of the money you chose to spend is not my responsibility.

So as far as she is concerned it was "my choice" to spend all of this money on my dog. What a horrible thing to say. She doesn't care about these animals all she cares about is making money. She insists that the puppies she sells comes from her own dogs but why is she selling so many different breeds and also why does she always have pups available? She can not be a "backyard breeder" with her own website to constantly advertise available puppies can she?

This whole experience has taught me a very expensive lesson. However, on a positive note I have learned from it and am currently learning more and trying to educate people regarding breeders, puppymills, brokers and even persons who are selling puppies on the side of the road, on the internet or at parks and swap meets not to buy these animals. Most of the time they are living in horrific conditions and being over bred just so the people to make money from them. Please do your research (unlike I did) before purchasing a new family member.

Did you know there isn't even such thing as a "teacup" breed? With that being said I will post this complaint.
