I was head of marketing for a company and my PR firm suggest I should apply for an award with this company. They asked for all kinds of background information to see if I could win this prestigious award. Low and behold, I won (as I am sure everyone does). They then asked for money to process the award and give me a book. I declined so the amount they asked for declined. Finally, I agreed (it was a company expense afterall). Since then they have called me no less than 50 times trying to sell me other products. I have asked them to put me on their do not call list, I have complained to the FTC. If you are reading this, you should complain too. They will NEVER stop calling. Here is where to file the complaint.
