This guy Mike Skofill told me he had an 'Opt-In' email list containing 130,000 email addresses of CPA's and FA's in several states. And for $1,100.00 he would email them once a week for 20 weeks an email ad he designed for me.
The ad looked great! Here is the BUT: He told me I would go out on a Tuesday, the best day of the week, it did not, he told me it would go out on 'new servers' and it did not.
Mike had inbedded a link that would ping my website when the ad was viewed, he sent me that data, I went to my website administrator and the data did not even come close to matching. My site had 39 hits and his report said it had hunderds and hunderds of hits, not TRUE.
He also kept giving me this song and dance that he was sending my ad out on 'old servers' and that the ad was being blocked by the ISP it was going to due to the fact that the ISP's somehow are able to figure that out. So after the first send did not work he told me he would send the ad out on new servers, wich he never did.
He kept telling me it went out on old servers, even though he kept promising me he would send on new servers. This went on for 3 weeks/sends.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST, he promised he would refund my money if the last send did not work, dont hold your breath, it did not work and he did not send me my refund. This man is a liar and a cheat. Do not do business with him. Contact me and I will give you more details and even email you my website states and the excell sheet he gave me of the hits to my site. I filed a complaint to Southeast BBB, reported to Attorney Generals Office, and to Consumer Affars
He has over 100 complaints and is under investigation Do not send him any money.
