The stupidity on my part? I read a Ripoff report one month prior to renting a property from this team and ignored it.
Team Athey, in particular Sarah is the most unprofessional agent you will come in contact with in the DFW area. I know from first hand experience.
Unprofessional messages are left on VM, unprofessional emails to your personal or work accounts. She shows no remorse, sensitivity or apathy for her behavior.
The most unethical activity I found in her would be how she keeps tabs on her tenants through her personal relationships with neighbors nears the rental properties.
Neighbors keeping tabs on how many visitors come to your home, how long they stay and what hours you keep, ex: what time you leave in the mornings for work, what time you arrive back home, etc.
Why? It is beyond me what this information is being gathered for. Nevertheless, the level of unprofessionalism was surpassed by her ill-ethics and lack of moral professionalism, to say the least.
