We met David a few weeks ago. Very fast talker... Typical sign of a scam artist. We looked at a rent to own, but our credit was good enough to buy. He claims to own this house, and whether or not he does, I really don't care. He told my husband that he would pay him to do carpet at "his houses" so that we could save up our down payment. He was really anxious for the earnest money as he was leaving for Florida.
I could feel the scam flowering. My husband is more trusting and went ahead and laid the carpet at 4210 S Lynhurst. We, of course, didn't hear from David until the following Friday saying that he never agreed to pay him any money. He would just "apply" it to our down payment. Sure.
He also said that he had been trying to get ahold of us all week. Sure.
Sorry, David. Go find someone else to screw!!! Good luck and have a prosperous life! Wow, what a disgrace!
Do not do business with this guy!!!
