March-23 / Re: T-Mobile -Recently, I was Contacted by a Collection Agency out of New York State (Law Offices of Mitchell N Kay PC - 7-Penn Plaza - New York - NY - 10001, that I owed on an Old Cell Phone "Early Termaniation Fee" of $213.90, from April of under which at that time was actually known as "Voice Stream Wireless", who has since went out of Business, believe back in and was bought apparently by T-Mobile, out of Belleview Washington. They Claim I owe the above amount, for which I had already took care of that amount with a Customer Service Representive, with Then Voice Stream Wireless, in December of which I paid $280.00 dollars.
Then again in March / April of I recieved yet another Call from yet another Collection Agency in which they said I owed yet another $280.00 for Early Termination Fee, for which I explained to them, that I already took care of that with Voice Stream Wireless, customer Service Rep, months ago. I was then told by this Collection Agency, that they had been getting a lot of this, and told me not to worry about it, it would be cancelled.
Then in August yet again, I recieve yet another letter from yet another Collection Agency, down in Florida, that I owe still yet on this Bill as mentioned above, I ended up researching that Collection Agency and found out that the owner and his wife had previously 2 years earlier been Indicted in a Florida Civil Court for Fraud - Deception and Mail Fraud.
I then copied all that information off and sent all my info, and copies to the Florida FBI Office, and the FTC in Washington, and the US Justice Department in Washington, that was in 2005. I then recieved a letter that the matter had been cleared up, by the FTC in Washington.
Now, in as of March, I yet to recieve yet another letter of the same type, that I owe yet another $213.00 for Early Termination Fee, so I called the Corporate Office in Washington Sate of T-Mobile, and ended up talking to a Customer Service Rep, "Cal" #8474681, I explained the whole situtation to him completely, that this was the 3rd go round on this supposed bill, and that I was not going to pay it ever, for it had been taken care of Earlier, years ago. I was then switched over to another supposed Supervisor - Adam # 8474876, supposedly down in the state of Tennessee, who attempted to try to help the situtation, but then informed me, that his records show I owe the amount stated, and that he could take care of that over the phone, or, I could use an alternate means to resolve the bill or settle or dispute with the collection agency in New York State, who sent me the notice!
I'm choosing to Fight this Bogus Claim for $213.90, and will Be Hiring My Attorney, to do just that, as well, as keeping track of my time, even typing this letter and the amount of time spent on the phone, as to myself being Compensated for MY time to straighten out this Corporate mess, for which they ultimely are Responsible themselves, I will also be filing a Law Suit against T-Mobile for any Damages and Duress they have caused for their Fraudulent claim of amount owed them, as well as turning over all my evidence to the FBI's Criminal & Racketeering Division, and forwarding all copies of documents to the FTC in Washington, as well as the Justice Department in Due time.
This has got to be the worst case of Fraud & Deception, perpertated by a Cell Phone Carrier I've seen in a long time, to think that 8 or 9 years later, they can attempt to collect on a Debt, thats already been taking care of, years ago, and still many times attempt to collect for several years later as many times as they deem necessary, and be dumb enough to send that information thru the US Postal service with a Date mark on it, constitutes Mail Fraud, punishable by up to 10- years in prision for each offense. This means, that if they have done attempted to do this to many many people, then theres going to be a lot of jail time like in decades for those involved in this Fraud!
Beware this Company is attempting Fraudulent and very Deceptive practices, DO NOT PAY them anything, consult with an attorney immediately and keep all documents, zerox copies, and always get names, employee id numbers, and any reference information you can, written on paper for you and your attorney and Law Enforcement to refer to when needed. I'll be consulting with my Attorney this week over this, and will keep those of you updated as to this situtation in due time! T Mobile-Corporate and its Officers Beware!
