They got white splatter spots in the same area on 2 ladies dress shirts that were purchased from nordstroms.
The spots removed the color from the light blue blouses and left white spots (bleached).
I asked the asian man (owner), to pay for just 1 of the shirts, the new one. He refused and said that the spots were there when I brought the shirts in (which was a lie). I wore the shirts to work and then placed them in a clean, new bag until i brought them to the cleaners. I dont even use or keep bleach or bleach products in my home, because i dont like chemicals.
The new shirt cost $138.00 and the old shirt, also from nordstroms, may have cost around $50.00, it was a few years old. I only asked for him to pay for the new shirt because it was very new and I had the receipt. I even stated that I would continue using their services, if I could trust that they would pay for their accident. He didn't care. He told me to sue him and if he lost, then he would pay. It isn't worth missing a day of work for $138.00 because I make alot more than that per day.
So, if they damage something (which can happen), they won't pay!
