Logo on web sites internet buyers beware. Do not trust the online privacy stickers

I ordered a 3 month subscription from reunion.com in january/feb. 09. The company then changed to my life.com. I then cancelled the subscription as it would not be automatically billed once 3 months was up. Feb. 24 I noticed on my credit card a charge of 19.95. It was from Savingsace.com. It had a 1-800 # and website. The first site I went on was boggus and the only click on I could do to find out about this was DAYPASS.com. I found out these companies were owned by adaptive marketing LLC. I could not get a hold of any of these people when I called, nor can you email them.

My cc company is investigating. But this is what I know for a fact. Each one of these sites has the logo TRUSTe for privacy on them. I connected trust e.com and am waiting to hear back from them. Their privacy policy is a fraud if you read what they do. This is a telemarketing scheme over the internet. Reunion sold info. Of mine but also sold the credit card number to adaptive marketing llc. The front they use is the day pass.com saving ace.com and all the others listed with adaptive marketing llc.

They say you ordered something or make their site look like you ordered these special deals you even log in. Well I never ever would order like this as many others would not also, reunion sold your bank info. To these people. And who else have you bought from that uses adaptive, marketing llc? You will not know until they do it to you. I do not have a login as I never signed up.
You trust the sites you go on because of the secure site that manages it, they do not do good jobs, they are all selling your card numbers not just your information.

Reunion sells your stuff to the marketers (telemarketer) and then the front is the payment processors that actually add on $ to your cards fraudulently. If and when you read the privacy policy, that is also fraudulent. Claims what it does but claims it is a secure site that they use so and so and that your info is sold but not cc or bank acc #'s. None of these people were authorized to use anything of mine but reunion.com and only a 3 month subscription and they were not authorized to sale my cc info. To a telemarketer.

Reunion and my life.com uses adaptive marketing llc.com. It is a big scheme and scam. Telemarketers (a ton of them) were quickly and diligently sought down and caught... From the first person to the last— which is a well known bank when they were doing this at the shopping centers and by phone calls and such places. THEYRRRRRRRRE BAAAAAACK Now beware it is on the web. You can not even trust the protection logos or privacy logos. At least not TRUSTe. As they all have that used on their web sites for YOUR protection, but they are actual telemarketers getting the trust from TRUSTe to rip you off.
