I purchased a Cane Corso Puppy from Debra Woods (Young) or whatever she is going by these days in Aug. After six months my puppy started showing hip problems. I promptly took my puppy foster to my family vet. At six months his x-rays showed that his hips were so bad he had to be on medicine for pain and an anti-inflamatory. I contacted Debra as soon as i found out. She explained to me that these things happen and she couldn't help it. I was still under my health guarantee but she said I would have to send Foster back to her at my cost and she would ship me a new puppy of equal value. After the first time I seen Foster I wouldn't have sent him back and she knew that.in addition I wouldn't have paid to ship him back or for a new puppy from her. When Ipurchased Foster Debra went by Debra Young of Youngs Cane Corso. Afer I contacted her in regards to this she changed her name to Debra Woods and either changed her Kennel name or moved to a different kennel. Canton Cane Corso's in Texas. Youngs Cane Corso was out of Nevada. I received several calls from people after I wrote about her in a breeder report from people claiming that Debra never sent them their paper work on there puppies, there puppies also had hip problems, or other various things. I came in contact with her at Canton Cane Corso after researching her on the internet and again tried to contact her. When I did get in contact with her (close to a year after I purchased foster from her) she told me that I would get a new puppy from her and it wouldn't cost me anything. I refused. My vet told me I would need to put Foster down soon. He was in a great deal of pain and could hardly get up from a laying position. When I told this to Debra she said that I didn't have to put him down, if I really loved him I would have his back legs surgically removed and I would buy a wheel chair type thing for dogs. I was irate. Debra hung up on me and changed her number that night. I have not seen or heard from her since then.
