Many cruise lines give a speech saying that Diamonds International is the preferred vendor and that if you buy from other vendors when at port you will not get a guarantee but if you buy from Diamonds international you will be backed. The truth is these cruise lines get a kickback from these preferred vendors. I bought a ring from DI and when I got on the ship realized a stone was missing... Sent the ring back to be fixed... After a month my ring wasnt returned. After many calls I was told it got shipped to the wrong place, its lost... Etc. I got many different stories... Finally almost 2 months later I got my ring (as noted in other complaints they state for a guarantee you must notify them in 30 days)
After 45 days I got my ring back and within 2 weeks my ring snapped in half... A chunk of where the diamond bands were just broke off! I couldnt believe this... I figured they fixed it shoddily or it just was crap to begin with.in any case after many attempst to get this resolved of course nothing happened. Please be warned... You will get ripped off by Diamonds International. I cant wait for my next cruise (coming up) where I will sit in the audience and wait till the promote Diamonds International so I can raise my hand and then warn everyone of this shoddy place.
SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Do not buy from these liars and cheats.
