The reports about Nationwide are true. I submitted an online request for a quote on 1/24/09. Brandon Garrison called me on 1/25 and LIED. He said that it was his office, and HIS trucks. I heard chatter in the background, and I asked him if he was in a call center - he told me no - he said that he was in his office with a few of his guys and they were getting ready for a move.
He was really nice - he gave me a quote that he said was 75% off of the regular price with no hidden fees, flat rate, nothing else to worry about - he spoke about the Better Business Bureau... Blah, blah, blah. I told him that I needed sometime to do my research - he got a little testy: reminded me of the BBB, and no other fees, tellingme that if I don't lock-in now, it will only be more expensive later. He told me becareful of companies that charge by footage, lots of scams out there...
Well, I did my research and came across this site and many other consumer advocate sites. Thanks goodness. So I email Brandon back and told him that I changed my mind - and was no longer interested, based on the research (and I attached several of the web links). Today February 12th. I am still getting 2 calls perday and massive amount of email from Brandon - each time I continue to tell them to remove me from their list - I am no longer interested. Today I had to curse at them and tell them that I am adding this newest harrassment information to this (an other) sites.
