This report is regarding a scam artist of an attorney by the name of Kurt Duane Elkins (CA Bar #241562). His office is located at the following address: 2680 North Santiago Blvd, Orange, CA 92867, although many of his victims are located in the Brea area.
This guy uses Craigslist to advertise his services and hook unsuspecting victims. Basically, what he does is promise a service for a fee, takes your money and then never delivers on his promise of service.
In our company's case, he accepted $30k with the promise that he could process our files and then proceeded to give us the run around for months. After receiving our payment he consistently avoided our phone calls and attempts at contacting him.in the rare event we actually were able to get ahold of him, he lied to us and said that he was working on our files when in reality he was just letting our files sit around and accumulate dust.
This not only cost us an exorbitant amount of money but also got us in trouble by making us look bad to our clients. This guy is nothing short of a blatant criminal who hides behind his attorney's license and makes his living purely by promising people services, stealing their money and then never delivering on his promises.
Whatever you do, do not become another of this crook's victims by falling prey to his scams and fraudulent claims. It is absolutely asinine that this man still has his license after all the people he's screwed over. If you don't want to be lied to, swindled and taken advantage of, stay away from this crook at all costs!!
