When Susan Pearson was hired last February to photograph my twenty one year old daughters wedding and did a good job i decided to hire her again for my other daughters sweet 16th birthday party January 24. The theme of the party was to be medieval/renaissance so i asked Mrs pearson if she knew of a place to host the party. She quickly suggested Liberty Ranch, a new place that was being converted from an old art studio to a hall for events and venues. Mrs. Pearson was working in conjunction with the owner of the building, but I never was told exactly, if any what their business agreement was.
The day before the party Mrs. Pearson phoned and with no further explanation simply stated. Quote "Im pulling out. Im not makin' any money out this..." Mrs. Pearson was not heard from again until the next day, which was the day of the party when she arrived in the morning while decorations and the cake was being delivered. My eldest daughter (26) her husband, and my six year old granddaughter were there assisting the cake lady when Mrs. Pearson arrived to pick up some of her belongings that were there. She was akting very brash and began making racist crude statements and accusations. My daughter phoned me at once very upset and explained that Mrs. Pearson was acting in a very unprofessional manner cursing, yelling, and shouting obscenities not just in front of her, her husband and the cake lady but my six year old grandaughter as well.
I phoned Mrs. Pearson while she was still on location and asked what the problem was. And she stated she felt like "she was "owed" a larger photo package than what i had originally ordered because of her previous hard work she felt she had done. I explained to Mrs. Pearson that being a single mother and losing my husband to Leukemia just months before, I only needed and could afford the package I had originally ordered. Also, there was a slide show that was to be conducted displaying images of my daughter and her deceased father together when she was a little girl, she changed the price she had quoted me for the slide show the last minute so I was unable to do it and Mrs. Pearson has yet to return these precious photos to me.
Mrs. Pearsons' last words to me before she hung up the phone were "Dont F—k with me b—ch!
Mrs. Pearson's company is named Portraits by Susan and it is based out of New Caney, Texas. She provides services for all events and occasions including but not limited to weddings, company socials, senior and family portraits, pet portraits and oddly enough. Quinceaneras (spanish culture 15th birthday parties) I am stating that this is odd because the racist crude comments that Mrs. Pearson was making was that "She HATES mexicans!" Good thing i'm American.:)
