Last night I was emailed by a fellow ebayer who accused me of plagarizing my ebay guide "How To Spot Fake Tiffany Jewelry", which I wrote in June. I checked the website she mentioned, Jewelry Appraisers of Florida (jewelryappraisersfla.com) and found that they had completely plagarized my guide. I emailed them last night and this morning their website was construction, I got an email from a representative asking how I would like my guide to be cited.
They have since removed my guide from their website but they still come up on Google when you type in "Fake Tiffany". I did research and found my guide has also been completely plagarized on the websites fashionaccessoryforum.com (by the Administrator Cindylou no less!). The website fashionaljewelry.com has also plagarized it. I've emailed the last two websites and have yet to hear back.
Last month I found that fakenot.com had plagarized my guide and I emailed them about it. They have since cited me as their source. I obviously want the information out there to help people, but I certainly don't want people thinking my work isn't original. Can I copyright my guide?
