I signed into this website to do my taxes. When I wanted to get back into the website to fix my taxes I could not do it. I tried the username and password that I set for it. And it would not take it.
So I clicked on the forgot password link. I sent me to a screen where you could enter your username and SS# to get into the site. Well, I did that, and it told me that the SS# I entered did not match anything. So I tried again using my husbands SS# it again told me I was entering the wrong SS#. Which I was not. (I had printed my tax paper work so I knew the SS#'s I was entering was the right ones.) And that I did not mess up entering a number.
I emailed this place numerous times telling them I can not get back into the site to fix my taxes. They would just send me an email telling me to sign in with username and password! Apprentley they got tired of my emails and sent me one saying that nothing was coming through on there end. That I was sending a blank email. I even asked them to contact me via phone to help me. Their response was. We do all responses through email.
I looked on my chaecking account today and they took the money out of my bank account, however, I still can not get back on to the site to fix my taxes and send them to the IRS.
I had to go to another Tax site and redo my taxes and pay again. I will never do buisness with this Freetaxusa again. This place it a big ripoff. And now they have all my personal information.
