Doba drop shipping fraud uram utah

I recently signed up for a two week trial on Dec 10 at 5:38 PM EST which would expire at Dec 24 at 5:38 PM EST. I requested a cancellation of my membership as I had just missed the two week cutoff to cancel the acct.

I spoke with a customer service rep named Lisa at x4051 (she wouldn't give her last name). I asked for a supervisor and she gave me Rachael Evans as a manager who would reply to me. Evans would not take phone calls and I was told to email her which I did.

Evans responded to my email (several days later) and told me that DOBA would not refund my ongoing charge for January because I narrowly missed the cutoff due to the Holidays. While I agree that I missed the 14 day cutoff, I feel that DOBA is using unfair business practices by having a small clause in a SIX page terms of use agreement. I ask that my membership fee be refunded as I haven't used the service or purchased any products as I find the service to be a fraud based on the prices and small quanities on items offered for sale.

I didn't understand the company's response. If they are extending the "free" membership windows until February, this is acceptable. I would then immediately cancel the during the extended free membership "window".

However, I wish to have my refund in full. I do not want to extend my affliation with this company since I believe that this company does not offer valuable services. If I am still being charged for a month of service, extending the service for another month will not rectify the situation.

I would accept a prorated charge of those days over the original free trial.

DOBA had 315 BBB complaints filed against it. This shows a pattern of unsatisified customers. They state that they are a "wholesaler" but when you review the items that are available the majority have limited quantities which are indictitive of a retail sales company. Also, prices of DOBA goods are as expensive or more expensive that those avaialble on ebay or other internet sources.

I feel that this company is a sham. They offer drop shipping and wholesale pricing but are truly a retail sales operation. They trick customers by having a six page user agreement and have a small clause on the sixth page that there is no prorated refund. This is deceiving. As I stated earlier, I did not see the no prorated clause until later and would not have entered into business with this company had that been clearly explained in a simple contract instead of in "legalieze" on the SIXTH page of the agreement.

The fact is that I never bought any products or recieved any benefit from this company. To state as DOBA's rep doesw, that I received the benefit of wholesale pricing research is ridiculous. The prices on ebay are better than DOBA offers! They use the example of 4 items that they sell as proof that they have wholesale pricing is a fraud.

My original offer is to accept a prorated charge for the two days that I went over my "free'membership. DOBA refused to do the right thing. I will not accept anything other than a partail charge. I will not pay a $75 BBB arbitration feee for a $49 disputed charge. Shame on the BBB for not being able to resolve this issue w/o a $75 fee and shame on DOBA for being a fraud. I will dispute this charge with my credit card company if this matter does not get resolved. DOBA's offer of another month of service is a joke. I DO NOT want to do business with this company! Why would I want another month of service from a fraudulent company who offers no benefit other than wasting my time?
