I have been a Gap shopper since... God knows when. My boyfriend has 4 pairs of the same style of jeans, each a different color. We have NEVER had a problem with this company before. One pair of jeans, the newest (bought in November), came unsewn on one of the belt loops. Two weeks later, the fabric came apart underneath the back pocket (NOT A RIP).
I took the jeans to this store. The manager would not return them because their policy states that items must be returned unworn w/in 30 days and these jeans were not defective. I asked him if all of their clothes fell apart within four months, he said that some were made to do that.
Please, I am not 16, and I certainly don't jump around like GAP models do in their ads. I asked the manager if it was worth losing a customer over permanently. He couldn't answer that. Their GAP-STYLE line was absolutely useless. Please never shop at GAP again. We all work too hard to have our clothes fall apart every few months. Believe me, I will not give up until I get my money back, and no one I know will shop at that store ever again. Funny... I went in there just wanting an exchange anyway.
