Moon Run Farm Bray Anderson Mary Anderson
Horse Dealer, Cruddy instructor, sells unsafe horses

Bray/Mary Anderson of Moon Run Farm does not worm her horses, leaving an unhealthy environment. Her help only works during the week so horses are not fed or watered during the entire week. The indoor ring, supposedly for riding, has stalls and horses loose during lessons, hay, shavings. Many times the horses are not fed in the morning or at night when Ms. Anderson is the only one there because she's too lazy to do it herself. Children have been allowed to feed dinner, splitting one bale of hay between 34 stalled horses. Outside horses receive no hay. Medical care is almost never obtained for horses. She doesn't have money for shavings, decent hay or grain but goes on vacations to Europe. Contrary to her web page there is not round the clock supervision. Ms. Anderson claims to have a pre-vet degree when she in actuality dropped out. Most of the horses are not cared for by a vet or farrier.

Ms. Anderson is the equine version of a puppy mill, breeding almost all available mares including a 23 year old mare who was underweight from not being fed who died in birth while Ms. Anderson was vacationing in London. She has very few actual quality horses and many of her lesson horses are sour. She allowed a 10 year old child to ride a horse that the dealer she bought the mare from said "Do not let a child ride this horse". The horse's name was Sandcastle. She would collapse thrashing in the cross ties, fall over randomly, etc. The 10 year old child died after the horse bolted coming back from a trail ride and the child was thrown. She often uses horses she picked up from her dealer or auction in her lesson programs without the knowledge of the horse's background.

As an instructor Ms. Anderson heavily shows favorites, overcharges, crams as many students into a lesson as she can and takes phone calls, socialized or otherwise ignores her students that have paid for her services.

Heaven help the individual that buys a horse from Ms. Anderson. She sells unsafe horses to un-experienced riders. When the horses come down with abnormalities, vices, or health problems she denies all responsibility. If the horse purchased is purchased by a boarder the boarder is expected to board with her. If the boarder wants to leave the horse and boarder must leave in secret because those leaving with a horse formerly owner by Ms. Anderson will be verbally abused and mistreated during the remainder of their stay. More than one boarder has left there under a cover of lies leaving equipment, tack trunks, etc rather than deal with Ms. Anderson.

Animal Welfare Board and the Animal Control officer is called frequently on Ms. Anderson for poor conditions, malnourished horses, injuries (currently one mare is still suffering injuries incurred giving birth three years ago and one ripped the skin off a foreleg) and other issues. She has never lost any of her animals and even though her property does not meet the minimum standard set by the law she is continually allowed to be in business.

Alibi - Grey Thoroughbred Mare belonging to Ms. Anderson was reported in 2004 for being severely underweight. The responding officer didn't look at the horse. The horse had severe - untreated - melanomas.in 2006 (2007?) the mare lay down in the field to die. Then Ms. Anderson called the vet for euthanasia.

Molly - Geriatric mare belonging to Ms. Anderson bred for a foal in 2004 (?). Deformed and dead foal became stuck, mare perforated. Vet was called by barn employees. Euthanasia was uneffective due to blood loss.

Stuart Little - Welsh Pony Stallion belonging to Ms. Anderson suffered from breathing condition.in 2005 (?) Ms. Anderson was on vacation and barn employees contacted a vet. Bill of $5,000, medication was dispensed. Ms. Anderson docked the employee's wages for compensation and refused to give the medication to the stallion. The stallion continued on a downhill slide and was brought to emergency equine hospital and was humanely euthanized.
