My family were looking for a 2nd family dog and came across an advert for yorkie puppies free for adoption from an owner in Scotland. After enquiring about the advert we also received a length e mail asking how we will care for the 'baby'. They said they were based in Girven, Scotland and had a bitch and a dog and to get in touch when we have decided which we wanted.
We replied that we were looking for a bitch and I got a reply asking for name, address, phone number and closest airport. I was told that we had to pay 150 for the delivery and she was on her way to the delivery agency with the puppy who would then contact us about payment.
We then received the following e mail from the delivery agency

We just received a baby Yorkie puppy about 30minutes ago from a Lady called Mrs Vanessa Kate. She told us that the baby is to be delivered to the following address. We just want you to check and see if the information is correct.

This puppy came with all it's documents and the baby is feet to be delivered to the address above. Usually a test has to be CONDUCTED to see if the baby is feet both health wise and journey wise. When this was conducted, we found out that the baby is Vaccinated and has all health papers and is feet for the journey.

When we didn't reply quickly enough we received a number of phone calls from a man with poor English demanding payment for delivery of this 'baby'. We didn't recognise the payment methods and they then told us to pay through the post office after some quite aggressive demands. We requested on meeting the courier at Manchester airport and paying in person on receipt of the dog to which they replied Manchester airport do not have the dog, we do, so make the payment'.
After we still hadn't paid I received an e mail from the 'owner' saying the company was legit. We found it odd that a company based in Scotland requested payment to Cameroon and were calling the puppies babies' over phone and e mail. We decided to research the company before making any payments and came across a number of reports with the same experience we have had so far. This confirmed our suspicions and luckily we have not made any payments and will not be doing so.
