Boy what a sucker I am! Started with an order for the Ring of Re. Sent them a letter when I didn't receive the rings (3) threatening action such as turning her into the Postmaster General (Mail Fraud), etc. Got the rings. Don't worry if you haven't gotten them... They turn your finger green or black! Since then, I have been innundated with letters telling me that I am in danger and that Maria Duval could help me bring good luck, fortune and love. I feel ashamed that, as a Christian, I fell for all of this because my life IS GOING to the dogs lately and I was grasping at anything to keep from going under. I, too, have received multiple letters per day at times. Each time, there was another request for money (always amounting to $45). I have sent her $570 since this all started.
I AM TOTALLY ASHAMED that I participated in this scam! I probably deserve some blame. She also cashed some checks early and caused a big cascade of bounced checks that hasn't stopped since. Again, my fault. Actually post-dating a check is not legal. Shame on me... SHAME ON YOU, MARIA for taking money from one who you state you know is in financial difficulty. I have written you letters to the fact and you still keep asking. If she was legitimate, she would bill me once my "ship came in!" She has caused me much emotional distress and distressed my banking account to the point of threats of closing my account.
