IntMove offered to ship my household goods for $2,500. Based on their written estimate, I signed the order form and sent them the check. As soon as they got my check, they demanded that I'd sign an innocent-looking Agreement where the fine print stated that if the density of the shipment is over 7 lb/ft3, they will bill proportinally more. It meant that the actual charge would be roughly ten times higher, as most household itimes sink, i.E. Have dencity higher than than water (63lb/ft3). Imagine being charged $25,000 instead of $2,500!
My online search produced dozens of posting of clients which said they were bilked by IntlMove in a similar manner. I called the bank to stop the payment and didn't lose anything but time, but many people seem to have been much less lucky with this company. I believe that they run an oparation desiged solely to defraud people.
