I was asked to help an elderly woman who had paid Peoples First Financial to assist with a loan modification on her home mortgage. The woman contacted PFF in May to retain their services. She paid $3495.00 for this service.
In November the client received a notice from her Lender that the home was going to be sold at an auction. The client contacted PFF only to get the run around again and again. She later was told by PFF that the associate handling her account was no longer with the company.
In November the client contact her own mortgage company and submitted her request for a modification. The mortgage company then advised that they had not "ever" spoken to anyone from PFF and that they had only received a letter of authorization from PFF on July 29th.
The client tried numerous times to get PFF to refund her money so that she could use it to try to reinstate her loan with her mortgage company, but was denied be PFF. The client then asked for my help. We conference called PFF and advised them that the client was not satisfied with their service, that nothing had been done on the loan and that there was a sale date pending in January.
PFF associates refused to allow the client to speak to a supervisor, hung up on the client numerous times and continually gave her excuses about refunding her money.
This company is a fraud to say the least.
