Even if the "intent was not to scam", the outcome is that hundreds of businesses across the country lost between $450 and $1000 or more because of Morgan & Chase. That is a rip-off and it WAS a scam, especially if the publisher had a good feeling that he wasn't going to come through for those new contracts. If he had a calculator he could have figured out that he was taking money for something OTHER than what he said he would use it for, which is a scam. He said he would produce our book with the money, but instead he probably paid his salary with it. Because he CHOSE to sell things that he couldn't produce, he lacks integrity at best, but essentially is a thief. He needs to give back the money all of us paid, and that will absolve him.
