If you are a bride or anyone else considering using this company, I am a living witness that it will be the worst decision that you will ever make in your entire life! I have just recently had the worst experience with this company (it's not a company-it is a scam artist ripping people off) in December so this is not an old complaint.
Unfortunately, I did not read complaint (didn't know anything about this website) before deciding to have my wedding dress made with Darius Cordell Designs. I found the site after visiting several sites looking for a wedding dress. I found a design that I liked and sent an inquiry to the company. Boy they (David) started off so nice and pleasant, answering questions, calling me & giving me all of the information that I requested. They even offered me a discount to place my order by a certain date.
I placed my order and sent in my deposit (you are required to send 50% of their "estimated" cost) and then EVERYTHING turned for the worse. No longer could I get a phone call nor would they answer the phone. They know when you are calling because they won't allow "Restricted Calls" when you call them, you must unblock your number. After taking my money, they would only (eventually) respond to my questions in a nasty, rude manner by telling me to "refer back to their website" for all answers. When I tell you they would NOT return ONE phone call, I'm not joking, they would NOT!
They finally led me to believe that my dress was being finished up and I had to send my balance (which by the way was incredibly high but remember they only give you an "estimate" when you send your deposit) in order for it to be released for shipping; when you are getting married in less than 30 days you would want to believe them right? It's not as if you have time to begin the process for finding a dress all over - and they have half of your $ as well!!!
When my date was 10 DAYS away, I emailed them with the urgency of my need only to be told that they never guaranteed that I would have my dress. They had the nerve to click and paste some blurb from their website to try and support this! They said they would "try" after having ALL OF MY MONEY! They didn't say this when they told me to send the balance so my dress would be shipped.
Long story short, they ripped me off and it was a miracle that I still got married and had all of my senses due to the ENORMOUS stress that I experienced. My dress arrived 3 days AFTER MY WEDDING! They actually had the nerve to have it sent with NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED and left at my front door. Not that I needed it at that point but if I did, it would have needed TONS of alterations. Will I get justice? ABSOLUTELY I WILL! However, I would HATE for anyone else to go through what I did and what I will now have to deal with this situation.
Do not use Darius Cordell Designs, I promise you - you WILL regret it!!
